TRAINING

CENWOSTO is responsible for running following Force level courses with the aim to generate adequate technical workforce.

STORE KEEPER TECHNICIAN (AMN) COURSE

 

      Name of Course         Store Keeper Technician Course

 

 

 

Aim of the Course

  • To trained the HCs/CTs of the Force.

  • To be employed as Magazine NCO of the Units/HQrs with the Amn/Explosives held in BSF.

  • To make the HCs, aware of carrying out quarterly inspection of Units

  • To prepare the AMN/Expl[ls and documents of the units for ATI Inspection.

  • To ensure the storage, safe handling & transportation of Amn/Explosives during ARCF/Field firing of the unit.


 

AMMUNITION TECHNICAL OFFICERS COURSE

Aim of the Course

  • To make the force personnel self-dependent in the field of ammunition/explosives to avoid dependence on Army.
  • To familiarize/Prepare Officers to be employed as ATO in BSF.
  • To teach in details the mechanism, repair of all types of ammunition/explosives held byathe BSF.
  • To carryout the annual/critical Inspection, to conduct test firing/proof test, disposal of ammunition/explosives and to ensure serviceability of ammunition up to the Unit level.

 

INSTRUMENT MECHANIC COURSE

Aim of the Course

 

  • To train and develop instrument mechanic for the repair of day optical instruments and to create a pool of instrument mechanics for CIW to carry R-4 repair of day optical instruments.
